Carol Spencer’s Barbie© Treasures Site

I began my career as a designer for the Barbie Doll in 1963 creating Couturier & Mod Fashions as well as Color Magic & Sew Free sets with play value.

As each new doll entered the World of Barbie I enjoyed designing their clothes.  And throughout my 35+ years tenure as Designer for the Barbie Doll I saved my favorites.

Now that I am retired I want to share my knowledge about the Barbie Family of Dolls and to find loving homes for my collection.  I recently made a large donation - Highlights of my Designs for Barbie to the UFDC Doll Museum in Kansas City, MO.  and donated my final OOAK design to benefit equally The Costume Society of America and Children’s Mercy Hospital, KC.

                    With Barbie love,

                                Carol Spencer
